What are Detours’ hours of operation?
Closed for the season. During the summer we are open 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, Daily
What size is your equipment?
Traditional paddle boards: 11 ft.
Inflatable paddle boards: 9 1/2 ft.
Kayaks: 8 ft. - 9 1/2 ft.
Canoes: 14 ft.
Does Detours require a deposit?
We keep credit card information on file to make a reservation.
We accept cancellations or rescheduling up to 24 hours before a reserved time slot. Last minute cancellations are subject to rental charges.
Do paddle sports rentals come with a life vest and a paddle?
All paddle board and kayak rentals come with one life vest and one paddle.
Canoe rentals include three vests and three paddles.
Does Detours deliver equipment?
Detours does not currently deliver. We do provide straps and padding for transportation.
We recommend vehicles with roof racks, truck beds, or trailers for easy transportation.
Note: We discourage guests from loading more than two hard-body water vessels (kayaks, canoes, SUPs) on the roof of a single vehicle. If you are leasing more than two vessels we recommend one of the following: having multiple vehicles in your group for transportation; bringing a trailer for greater carrying capacity or considering inflatable vessels such as our inflatable SUPs for easier equipment transportation.
